Considering its volume of the production it belongs among small enterprises and presenting its products' quality it is keeping pace with the standard of famous brands. The position among top-ten at every year's brewery competitions in the Czech Republic gives evidence about it.
The branding of products and names of sorts of beer have already embedded into the minds of population not only in local region but also in the whole country. Respecting the extended best before date term the delivery is not limited into local region but it is possible to deliver beer into all places of our country or a foreign one. The growing up sale and export , equally the interest of consumers and customers and the permanent export of Nova Paka beer to the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Ukraine give evidence about good quality.
In Nova Paka, first beer was brewed in the 13th century in a brewery of wood which was placed in the square of this town. After 600 years and many fires it was decided to construct a new brewery. In 1871 the Company for the construction of the brewery and a malt-house came into existence. Laying a foundation stone in 1871 the 1construction of a new building in the Neo-Gothic style had been started, it was finished next year and the brewery brewed its first brew.
Since 1872 the new tradition of the brewing of beer has begun in Nova Paka. The brewery became one of the prospering enterprises and it did not even interrupt the production in the time of greatest depressions . It was imbedded into the national enterprise Czechoslovak Breweries in 1984. It was twice decided to stop the production., for the last time in January 1988. It was successfully achieved to shift this dead-line to the end of 1989 and this moment enabled to start a new chapter of the brewery's existence.
In 1991 - 1993 the full reconstruction not only of the building but also of the technological equipment was carried out to enable competing in the brewing and going on the prosperity in present days and in the future.
